SPACE BATTLE

Space Battle is a 2 player dogfight in space.  You can have any number of starting lives, and the goal is to eliminate all of your opponent's lives. During the game, you can aquire various devices to aid you in your fight.

The multiplayer mode currently runs pretty slow, but it is playable.

The computer controlled players are extremely stupid. I don't recommend using them, but you'll see that for yourself if you try. I am not finished debugging the AI.

There is a good Solo Obsticle mode.  If you have only one player, then you will play in solo mode.  You gain points by shooting targets, roaming mines, and turrets. Obviously, turrets and roaming mines can kill you.  Build up your SpaceBattle skills and see how high you can score!

Hopefully these controls aren't too complicated. They are easy enough to access during play, but if you have any feedback, feel free to say so. Currently the keys are not changeable.

DEVICES

PowerUp To get a device, pick up a PowerUp (which appears when someone regenerates). If you get a repeat, the ammo is cumulative, shields will recharge, and the rest is redundant. You can't get Laser this way since you always have it.

A usefull trick with shields and afterburner is that you can rotate device while holding the trigger then rotate back or you can hold shift when releasing the trigger, and the device will stay activated. Afterburner and armor remain in effect when not the current device as long as enabled. Press the trigger again and release it while on the the device to disable it.
